What each token represents

Lots involves several assets with different rights. Knowing which one is in your wallet determines what you can sell, redeem or claim.

Technical references call the meme A and the basket B. User guides use their full names instead.

The meme is paired with the basket

When you buy a meme with basket tokens, you exchange one asset for another. The basket tokens enter the trading pool according to its settlement rules; the meme tokens leave it. You no longer personally hold the basket tokens you spent.

To obtain basket tokens again, you need an executable sale of your meme. The amount depends on the market, your trade size and fees. You cannot bypass that market by asking the vault to redeem the meme.

Calling the meme “stock-backed” without this explanation would be misleading. It is the basket receipt that has the fixed component redemption relationship. The meme has neither a basket peg nor a redemption floor.

The basket holds stock tokens, not brokerage shares

Robinhood describes its Stock Tokens as tokenised debt securities issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited. They provide economic exposure without legal or beneficial ownership of the underlying shares. Lots wrapping those tokens does not upgrade those rights into shareholder ownership. Corporate actions can affect the issuer's token economics and price conventions. Lots keeps its recipe in raw component-token quantities. A stock split, dividend adjustment or display multiplier must not be confused with the basket manager changing its recipe; there is no such discretionary recipe change in the approved design.

A direct-stock launch skips the basket

Choosing one approved stock token creates a meme/stock-token pair. There is no single-stock basket wrapper. Buying or selling can settle directly in that stock token, and there is no Lots basket unbundling step.

Two direct-stock memes may rotate if their registered quote token is exactly the same on the same chain. A direct-stock market and a basket market are different quote types, even if their themes look similar.

Ownership is not the same as a screen value

A chart's basket valuation does not mean those basket tokens belong to you. Pool reserves belong within the locked liquidity position; wallet-held basket tokens are separate. Likewise, a displayed meme market capitalization is not a redeemable pool of cash.
