Launch a community token

A launch creates a speculative meme token and its market against one approved stock token or a reusable basket. The standard flow keeps protocol settings automatic so the creator can focus on the theme and a small number of choices.

1. Choose your quote

Select one stock token for a direct pair, or 2–10 approved stock tokens for a basket. You can also reuse an existing basket after inspecting its recipe and vault identity.

Think about what asset you want this community's market measured in. A technology theme can choose technology-related stock tokens, but a story is not evidence of diversification or corporate endorsement.

No creator-funded stock or basket seed is required for launch. The initial liquidity is meme-only; buyers introduce quote inventory. This also means the opening $10,000 valuation is not $10,000 of cash in the pool.

2. Prepare the fixed community details

Name, ticker and a static logo are required. Description, banner and supported website, X, Telegram, Discord or Farcaster links are optional. Preview the details and correct the draft before signing.

Published metadata is fixed. The name, ticker, description, logo, banner and link values cannot be edited after launch. Linked external sites can change independently; Lots does not make those sites immutable.

The current media-validation defaults accept static PNG, JPEG or WebP files up to 5 MiB and 4,096 pixels per side, with square-logo and 3:1-banner previews. Draft limits are 64 characters for names, 16 for tickers, 2,000 for descriptions and 2,048 for URLs. These are implementation defaults, not permanent economic terms. Executable or animated uploads are rejected.

3. Select the permanent fee and fee wallet

Choose a permanent trading fee between 1% and 4%. It is fixed for this launch. Sells always pay it; public buys also have the temporary opening schedule described below. Official-pool trading fees split 70% to the creator and 30% to the platform.

Verify the receiving wallet carefully. A later destination change requires the current authorized fee wallet and acceptance by its successor. It applies to future accrual, not already-earned balances. Fee-wallet changes do not change the permanent rate.

4. Optionally purchase at launch

The opening purchase starts at zero. If enabled, it is a paid purchase executed within the launch transaction, with ordinary price impact but zero meme-swap fee. The received amount cannot exceed 50 million meme tokens: 5% of the original one-billion supply.

There is no free reserved allocation. Purchased tokens are unvested. The opening purchase counts toward the recipient's first-30-second buy limits. Choosing zero does not leave a free purchase available to use later.

ETH is the initial routed payment option; existing supported quote/component funding remains available. Funding trades and gas can still incur costs despite the meme-fee exemption.

5. Optionally enable buybacks

Buybacks are off by default. You can allocate 0–100% of your 70% fee share to buy and burn the same meme. The remainder stays claimable. The allocation does not use basket backing, holder balances or the platform's share.

Inspect the remaining claimable percentage. A 50% allocation commits half of your earnings, not half of all fees. Buybacks explains timing, guards and irreversible commitments of already-accrued funds.

6. Review and launch

Review the quote identity, fixed metadata, fee, receiving wallet, optional purchase, buyback allocation and total estimated cost. The automatic rules are:

RuleLaunch setting
Original meme supplyOne billion, minted once
Starting valuation$10,000 original-supply FDV before the creator purchase
LiquidityTwo fixed adjoining positions with permanently locked principal
Public openingImmediately after the launch transaction
Opening public buy fee90%, decaying over 50 actual L2 blocks to the permanent fee
Initial buy limitsFirst 30 seconds, 5% cumulative purchases and 5% post-buy balance per final recipient

The platform simulates and submits the combined launch. Deployment, initialization, principal locking and any opening purchase must all succeed, or that transaction reverts. A separately created basket can remain reusable if a later meme launch fails.

On success, inspect the actual purchase result, transaction, token and pool identities. The creator purchase may have moved the price, so the first public trade need not occur at the initial reference price.

After launch

Share the canonical token page, monitor your creator earnings and inspect discovery and holdings. No graduation or migration event is required to keep using the market.

The opening public buy fee is economically significant: halfway through its block schedule it is still 45.5–47%. The approximate five-second duration is not a guarantee. Read the actual quoted fee before any public buy, including a creator's later purchases.
