Asset eligibility and liquidity

Lots checks every component's eligibility and market depth before creating a Lot or launching against it. The Lot factory, BasketFactoryV15, combines liquidity from registered Uniswap v4 pools and approved v3-style pools. Launches use Lots from this factory.

How the depth check works

The check measures liquidity around the component's price on its price venue: the registered v4 pool used to value that component. The band extends 2.00% above that price and approximately 1.96% below it.

Two requirements apply to the smaller of the buy-side and sell-side depth:

RequirementMinimum depth
All registered v4 pools plus counted v3-style pools15,000 USDG
The price venue plus counted v3-style pools15,000 USDG

The check runs for a new Lot composition, a launch using that Lot, and plain-pool seeding through the Lot venue seeder. If a component fails, that action reverts. Existing component quantities remain fixed.

Which v3-style pools count

A counted pool must:

  • Be listed for the component in VenueBook.
  • Come from one of the trusted factories in V3DepthLens.
  • Have tick spacing of at least 10, active liquidity, a price inside the band and a fee no greater than 1%.
  • Rank among the three qualifying pools with the most active liquidity for that component.

A pool approved for routing does not automatically qualify for the depth calculation.

Price-source requirements

New asset registrations require at least 25,000 USDG on each side across qualifying venues, alongside the onchain depth requirements. The price source must also meet one of these conditions:

  • A validated Chainlink feed is configured in NavGuardV15 to cross-check the component price.
  • The price venue alone has at least 15,000 USDG on each side inside the band.

A component that meets neither condition is ineligible for registration. The price and execution guide explains how reference prices differ from trade quotes.

Eligible assets

The application shows the eligible components for a new Lot. Use supported assets to check token identities and understand the requirements. Liquidity changes after registration. The contracts check depth again when each action executes; an asset without sufficient depth cannot support that action.

Lot identity

A Lot keeps the factory that created it and its recipe; launch contracts never replace a Lot or change its recipe. Any holder can call the Lot contract to redeem transferable components. See redeem a Lot on chain.

Contract identities

The deployment reference lists the Lot factory, depth lens, asset registry, venue book and launch contracts on Robinhood Chain, chain ID 4663.

Depth requirements limit execution impact within the measured band. They do not guarantee a future fill, accurate pricing or protection against market manipulation. A complete transaction still needs executable liquidity and transferable assets.
