Buy and sell a launch token

Open Explore Markets, select the token and connect on Robinhood Chain. Verify its address and Lot. These steps use native Lots; external platforms have different flows.

To trade the redeemable Lot token itself, use Buy or sell a Lot. Its ETH buy and USDG sell panel has its own approval sequence and price tolerance.

Buy with your chosen input

  1. Select Buy on the token page.
  2. Choose an available Pay with asset and enter Amount to spend, or select a quick amount. The current choices are ETH and USDG, with ETH selected by default. Use the choices offered by the ticket for the selected market.
  3. Wait for You get to update, then expand Details for the route and Minimum received. Review the expected tokens, route, fees, price impact, effective slippage and protected minimum. For an ETH buy, also check the up to ETH amount and retain ETH for gas.
  4. If Approve appears, confirm the token, Lots router and amount. The unlimited checkbox grants an ongoing allowance; leave it off to approve the displayed amount only. ETH itself needs no token approval.
  5. After any approval confirms, select Buy [symbol]. Review the refreshed quote and confirm the trade in your wallet.

For a Lot-paired buy, the router acquires components and mints the intermediate Lot. You need not mint it manually.

Expand Details to check the route and minimum received. The example wallet has no ETH, so Buy stays disabled until it is funded.

Check slippage, fees and early limits

The ticket starts with 2% suggested slippage, with 1%, 2%, 5% and a Custom field available. If the quote cannot be fully verified, it is re-requested with one additional percentage point of tolerance, subject to the maximum. The Estimate only notice explains the added slippage. Read that notice and Minimum received before signing.

For an expected output of 1,000 tokens after fees and impact, a 2% tolerance gives a 980-token minimum before rounding. Slippage does not reverse the fees or price impact already included in the quote. Increasing it permits a worse result.

The launch-pool fee is fixed at 1–4%, chosen at launch. During the first 120 seconds, cumulative purchases and the recipient's post-buy balance are each limited to 2% of original supply. The opening creator purchase counts toward these limits.

Buys pay the launch-pool fee in the paired Lot token; sells pay it in the launch token. Component swaps and gas add separate costs. Read fees.

Sell into your chosen output

  1. Select Sell and enter Amount to sell, or use 25%, 50%, 75% or Max of your wallet balance.
  2. Select Receive. Choose ETH, USDG or the paired Lot tokens. ETH is the default. The Lot-token option returns the Lot directly.
  3. Review You get, the route and final minimum. Approve the launch token if needed, then select Sell [symbol] and confirm the transaction.

Get [Lot symbol] Lot tokens instead requests a new Lot-output quote. Review its amount and minimum. To receive components, then Redeem on the Lot page.

Choose your settlement asset under Receive. Enter an amount covered by your wallet balance, then review the refreshed quote.

After confirmation

Check the receipt and wallet balances, then open Portfolio for your holdings and recent trades. Required route steps settle together or revert; a failed transaction can still cost gas, and an earlier approval remains.

Unused trade funds are returned according to the route. If the router cannot deliver ETH to the receiving wallet, it records an ETH credit; check Portfolio → Refunds to claim and use the claim control with an address you control that can receive ETH.

If the quote changes materially before signing, review the updated figures and acknowledgement before continuing. Follow troubleshooting when the transaction status is unclear.
