Mint and redeem Lot tokens
Open Lots → your Lot → Mint & redeem. These actions exchange Lot tokens and components directly with the vault. To buy with ETH or sell into USDG, use the separate Lot market panel.
Before continuing, verify the Lot's address and connect the intended wallet on Robinhood Chain. Keep ETH for gas.
Mint from the complete recipe
- Select Mint and enter the number of Lot tokens you want to receive.
- Read You supply, Required and Your balance for every component. Obtain any missing component before continuing. The mint form does not buy missing assets with ETH.
- For each component requiring approval, review approve unlimited. This grants the Lot vault an allowance beyond the current mint; verify both the token and spender before confirming it in your wallet.
- Wait until the required components are ready. Select Mint [Lot symbol] and confirm the mint transaction.
Inputs round up at token precision. Every component must arrive before issuance; approval alone mints nothing.
After a confirmed mint
Verify the Lot balance and component transfers in the receipt. Vault backing is not an additional wallet holding.
Redeem Lot tokens for components
- Select Redeem in Mint & redeem. You can also select Redeem on a Lot holding in Portfolio; that opens this page with the wallet's Lot balance filled in.
- Enter the Lot-token amount, or select max.
- Review every asset and amount in You receive. Leave all Skip controls off for a complete redemption.
- Select Redeem [Lot symbol] and confirm the transaction.
- Check the Lot-token burn and component transfers after confirmation.
Redemption returns all components, rounded down, without selling them for ETH. It requires Lot tokens, not launch tokens.
The separate Skip control forfeits the skipped share for the Lot tokens you redeem. It does not preserve a later recovery claim. Use it only after understanding the loss and the alternatives in recovery. A missing market price alone does not require skipping a transferable component.
Worked example
See the redemption example for component amounts.
Costs and unavailable routes
There is no Lots mint/redemption protocol fee; approvals and transactions cost gas. Restricted minting and failed component transfers have different consequences. See minting, redemption and troubleshooting.
